At a time when most of our Bollywood stars rang in their New Year celebrations at foreign locations or at the most happening parties with the company of friends and families, veteran actress Saira Banu decided to keep it all simple and homely as she celebrated the New Year at her home. Joined her actor Aamir Khan, his ex-wife Kiran Rao, and his mother Zeenat Hussain. Sharing their special New Year celebrations on social media, Saira Banu took to her Instagram and shared a heartfelt note, while elaborating how they ushered in the New Year together.
From speaking about the enduring bond between Aamir and her late husband, the legendary actor Dilip Kumar to praising him as an artist, Saira Banu showered praises for the Dangal actor in a long note.

The pictures shared by the veteran actress on her Instagram show her sitting on the couch while Aamir comfortably sits on the floor, holding a big smile on his face. The following pictures further show Kiran Rao along with the actor’s mother and a few other guests in the room as they all get into a conversation.
“With each turn of the calendar, life continues to unfold, expand, and evolve. As years morph and time advances, a fresh perspective breathes new life into our existence. Amidst this perpetual change, there remains a constant: the presence of those who have shared our life’s journey with us,” the note begins.
Saira further notes how Aamir Khan has been this unchangeable presence for her and Sahib (Dilip Kumar), adding, “To this day, Aamir still holds a deep admiration for Dilip Sahib and everything he brought to Indian Cinema. It’s mutual. Sahib has always had a genuine appreciation for Aamir’s acting brilliance and how he flawlessly brings characters to life on screen. Personally, I’ve always been moved by Aamir’s artistry – not just in his films, but also in the way he’s embraced the role of a family member in Sahib’s and my life.”
She also opened up on how the actor has been with her during some really tough times, as she recalled the time when Aamir stepped up in every way imaginable, offering support and lending a helping hand when she was putting together Dilip Kumar’s autobiography, “The Substance And The Shadow.”
Concluding the note, she expressed happiness about welcoming Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and the actor’s mother.
“It was wonderful to start the new year with warm company, heartfelt conversations, and a delightful stroll down memory lane with Dilip Sahib. It was a truly wonderful time filled with shared laughter and cherished moments,” she wrote.
