Having had one of the toughest journeys inside the Bigg Boss 17 house, Ankita Lokhande’s stint ended after she was eliminated from the show on the fourth spot. The Bigg Boss 17 grand finale was nothing short of a thrilling ride for the top five contestants.
While it began on a fun note, the episode turned out to be a bit shocking after the unexpected elimination of Ankita Lokhande, who was once touted as the strongest contender for the winner’s trophy. Ankita’s elimination not only left her fans shocked but also left her family members and even host Salman Khan in disbelief. While the elimination left the Pavitra Rishta actress quite upset, she was seen gracefully accepting the audience’s decision.
Later, Ankita was tapped by the media post her elimination, however, did not seem in the mood to address media interactions as she clearly avoided the paparazzi. In videos going viral on social media, Ankita Lokhande looks visibly upset. She can also be seen dodging media to make her way into the vanity van while the crowd mobbed her with questions and requests for pictures.
In one of the videos going viral, a disheartened Ankita can be seen stepping out of her car along with her husband Vicky. The video of the couple shows the media requesting them to pose for a picture, however, the actress seems distracted.
Dressed in a shimmery silver sari, Ankita looked beautiful in the outfit that she chose for Bigg Boss 17 finale. In the meantime, fans also took to the comment section and showed their support. While some called her the ‘real winner of the show’, many expressed solidarity with the actress.
Salman Khan shocked by Ankita’s elimination
Ankita was seen getting emotional after her name came up for elimination in the finale. Many including her fans, family members, former contestants, and even her husband Vicky Jain were left shocked and disappointed.
Host Salman Khan also expressed that he was expecting Ankita to become the winner but was left in shock. “I thought you would win the show but don’t know what happened. The entire team is shocked. Your journey has been the toughest one on Bigg Boss,” he said.

In the meantime, in a nail-biting moment, Munawar Faruqui was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 17 after he defeated Abhishek Kumar and Mannara Chopra in the second and third positions. While Abhishek Kumar was declared as the first runner-up, Mannara was announced as the second runner-up.
