Sunny Kaushal on Katrina Kaif and his mom Veena Kaushal’s struggles: ‘Can’t compare them because…’

Sunny Kaushal and Vicky Kaushal are two brothers who share a deeply emotional bond. Vicky tied the knot with Katrina Kaif in 2021 and ever since then, the couple has spoken about their love and respect for each other and even the things that can cause fights between them. But in a recent interview, Sunny was asked about the struggles Katrina and his and Vicky’s mother Veena Kaushal have faced.

He told Bollywood Bubble, “I can’t really compare mom and Katrina that way because mom’s life was very limited to me, Vicky, dad or her siblings. And so, she would find happiness in that and she still does. Whereas Katrina has, because of the work she does she travels and meets many people. So, comparing them won’t be ideal because they both have seen they both come from very different worlds.”

The Shiddat actor added, “They both have seen very different worlds. So are there any similarities? I really do not know because when you’re sitting and when you’re hearing them talk you your mind doesn’t go like oh what are the similarities? Let me see if the the difficulties that they faced in life have any similarities. You don’t think like that. So, for me, I am incapable of answering that question.”

Vicky and Katrina always share special anecdotes about one another. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the Tiger 3  actress opened up about how Vicky Kaushal is a great partner and helps her maintain a “calm demeanour.” She not only credited her husband for it but also explained the reason.

During the discussion, Katrina, while answering a fan’s question on how she maintains her demeanor and calmness every time, said, “You need to ask this to Vicky. I go home and speak for 45 minutes in an incredible rant whenever I am worked up about something. Sometimes he might say that he didn’t understand because of my English. ‘I didn’t understand because you are fast. Your English is a little accented’, he would say, and he would listen to me with so much sincerity and acceptance. You feel like the burden is off your chest, and then you forget about it. That’s how I can come here and be calm and composed.”

Notably, this is not the first time she has been full of praise for her husband. Earlier, while reviewing Vicky Kaushal‘s performance in Sam Bahadur, Katrina called it “phenomenal.”
