One of the most bankable actors in the Hindi film industry, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not just known for ruling the box office but also has a reputation for being the master of his words. Widely recognised for his amazing sense of humour and witty responses, SRK is often seen engaging in hilarious banters in response to questions from his fans, media, and sometimes also his colleagues from the industry. In a recent instance, SRK was seen taking a jibe at his Jawan dialogue writer Sumit Arora after he included a poster of the actor’s viral dialogue in his home decor.

Sumit Arora who is known for helming the dialogues of Atlee Kumar’s blockbuster hit film Jawan, recently expressed pride in his own work by sharing a poster of SRK with his viral dialogue ‘Baap Se Baat Kar‘, as mounted in his home. “When your dialogue becomes part of your home decor.. #Jawan,” he wrote in the caption.

In a quick reaction to this, the superstar had a hilarious comeback, taking a light-hearted jibe at the length of Arora’s dialogues. “Maine bhi socha tha teri lines ek deewar par lagaunga. Itne lambe lambe lambe dialogues hain tere….itni lambi deewar hi nahi hai ghar mein!!! (Even I thought I will hang your dialogues on my wall. But your dialogues are so long, I don’t have such long walls at my home),” the actor wrote in response, leaving his fans in splits.

Jawan viral dialogue

The dialogue being talked about is the one that caught everyone’s attention right after it was shown in the trailer and then again in the film. In one of the crucial points in the film, Shah Rukh while playing the role of the lead character’s father said, “Bete ko haath lagane se pehle baap se baat kar,” prompting whistles and cheers in theatres.

Fans connect the dialogue to the actor’s real-life situation referencing the arrest of his son Aryan Khan back in October 2021.

Talking about Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar, the film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s second big hit in 2023 after Pathaan. The film also features actors like Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles.
