Rashmika Mandanna to begin shooting for Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa- 2’ from this date post ‘Animal’ success
Rashmika Mandanna is fresh off the success of Animal where she was paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She’s now set to return with Allu Arjun for Pushpa- 2. Reports say she will begin shooting for the film from December 13.
A source told Hindustan Times, “Rashmika Mandanna is extremely happy with the love and praise she is receiving for the film Animal. Immediately after the massive success of ‘Animal’, Rashmika will begin the shoot for the highly ambitious and blockbuster franchise ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on December 13, 2023 in Hyderabad. The actress will be reprising her iconic role of Srivali opposite souther superstar Allu Arjun.”
In a statement, the actress said, “The second half of the film will blow your mind.” The first film of the franchise came out in 2021 and was a blockbuster.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is busy shattering records at the box office. While a particular section of the audience has been criticizing the movie for toxic masculinity, it is on its way to become one of the biggest Bollywood grossers of all time. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Ranbir Kapoor’s wife in the movie, shared a note on her character, which has also garnered mixed reactions from cinegoers.
She wrote, “Gitanjali. If I were to describe her in a sentence… it would be the only force at home holding her family together. She is pure, real, unfiltered, strong and raw. At times as an actor, I would question some of Gitanjali’s actions.”

While the action drama is set to beat some of the biggest Bollywood biggies at the ticket windows, Stylish Star and Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun has reviewed the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial and said that the film has ‘joined the classics of Indian Cinema list’.
