Randeep Hooda, Lin Laishram get married in traditional Meitei ceremony; first pictures out

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda finally got married to the love of his life, model-actress Lin Laishram in an intimate ceremony on Wednesday, 29 November. The wedding took place in Imphal and was held in a traditional Meitei ceremony. The first pictures from the wedding are also out now.

As the wedding was a private affair, only family members and close friends were present in attendance who witnessed the couple tie the nuptial knot. A few pre-wedding pictures also surfaced on the internet, showing Randeep and Lin taking part in a few rituals dressed in all traditional attires.

On Wednesday, Randeep Hooda took to his Instagram handle and shared the official pictures of their wedding. “From today, we are One #JustMarried,” he wrote in the caption.

In the photos, the two can be seen dressed in traditional attires and looked absolutely gorgeous as new husband and wife. Looking handsome as ever Randeep was dressed in an all-white white attire, while Lin looked beautiful dressed in a Potloi or Polloi, a skirt made of thick cloth and bamboo. She completed her look with a heavily embroidered blouse, gold jewellery, and headgear too.

While the couple looked ethereal in their wedding attire as they became husband and wife, congratulatory messages have been also pouring in from fans and friends from the industry. Earlier, Randeep and Lin were seen visiting the Relief Camp at Moirang Lamkhai and Sendra Tourist Resort with their families. Apart from that, they also visited a temple and sought blessings before their wedding.

Reportedly, the wedding ceremony took place at the Chumthang Shannapung resort in Imphal.

Days before their wedding, Randeep and Lin issued a joint statement announcing about their marriage.

“Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings from our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur followed by a reception in Mumbai,” a part of their statement read.

Notably, the two have been quite private about their relationship until now.
