Karan Johar gave the Indian television landscape a charismatic and entertaining talk show called Koffee With Karan in 2004. And Kapil Sharma made the whole nation laugh together with The Kapil Sharma Show in 2013.
Where Bachchan initially charged Rs 25 lacs for KBC which later became Rs 3.5 crore, Kapil charged Rs 50 lacs per episode, there’s one more star who charges a bomb and makes no bones about it. Who’s it? The man is Salman Khan, who began hosting Bigg Boss in 2010 and till now, is now the face of the reality show.
According to a report by DNA, the 57-year-old actor charges around Rs 25 crore per week (i.e. Rs 12.50 crore per episode) for hosting Bigg Boss 17. His pay-cheque has only seen a meteoric rise in the last 13 years.
