KWK 8: Sharmila Tagore recalls Saif Ali Khan’s unharmonious split with Amrita Singh, says, ‘That stage was not nice’

The dynamic and royal mother-son duo Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan graced the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 8. It was filled with love, laughter, and genuine mother-son bonding, leaving the audience charmed as they got candid in their element.

While they shared warm memories of the royal family, the duo also recalled the first marriage of Saif with actress Amrita Singh and their unharmonious separation. “When you are together for such a long time and you have such lovely children, then no break up is easy. Then it is not harmonious… I know it is difficult to have harmony at that stage, everybody is hurt… so that stage was not nice, but I tried. But that’s water under the bridge, she needed time to cool down,” said Tagore.
