‘I am feeling so proud’: Shefali Shah arrives in Ayodhya ahead of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony
In what can be said to be one of the biggest celebrations for Hindus all over the country, the historic Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be inaugurated today, 22 January. While a series of elaborate rituals and performances have been planned by the temple committee ahead of the consecration ceremony, the events will also see some of the big names from cinema, sports, and politics as special guests.
Given that the festivities have already begun, several celebrities are already gracing Ayodhya and more are yet to arrive. In the recent one, National Award-winning actor Shefali Shah arrived in Ayodhya before the big day.
Shefali Shah was among the many other stars like Randeep Hooda, Anupam Kher, Anu Malik, and Shankar Mahadevan who were spotted arriving in Ayodhya to attend the grand opening of the Ram temple.
‘One of the biggest cultural moments’: Shefali Shah
In a video shared by ANI on social media, the Delhi Crime actress while expressing her joy said, “I am honoured to be here in Ayodhya. The Pran Pratishtha is one of the biggest cultural moments that our country and we as Indians can experience. I am just feeling proud of being an Indian. The culture in our country is so rich but we are pretty unaware of it. So it is like wow.”

Notably, Shefali joins the likes of many other famous Bollywood personalities who have been invited to the much-anticipated Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. While some have already arrived in the holy city, many others including renowned celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, and Rajinikanth among others are expected to reach shortly.
All the celebrities were provided prior invitations from designated authorities for the consecration ceremony.
Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha
The highly-awaited Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled to take place between 12:15 PM and 2:45 PM. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other politicians will be present at the event, they will be joined by Bollywood stars and thousands of devotees who have been invited by the temple trust for the momentous occasion.
