It has been a wonderful week for Aamir Khan as his daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. Here are some of the most memorable moments from the wedding, the festivities that followed in Udaipur, and the grand reception last night:
The Wedding And The Groom’s Attire
Ira, who is the founder and CEO of a mental health support organisation, registered her marriage with Nupur, a celebrity fitness trainer, at a five star hotel in suburban Bandra.
The marriage was attended by their close family members, including Aamir, his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, among others.
Ahead of the wedding, Nupur, who is in his 30s, was seen jogging from his residence in Santacruz to the wedding venue, wearing an athleisure outfit. He later danced along with his friends to dhol beats outside the venue.

Even though Nupur did flaunt his gym clothes, he did appear in a traditional dress to pose for the paparazzi later.
The Wedding Festivities In Udaipur
The couple also exchanged rings in Udaipur as a part of their wedding celebrations that saw Aamir break down and get emotional seeing the big day in his daughter’s life.
The Grand Reception
The reception ceremony of Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan was a starry affair. The reception night was well decorated. From Sachin Tendulkar to Zaheer Khan to Naga Chaitanya to Juhi Chawla to Mithila Palkar to Manoj Joshi to Farhan Akhtar to Babil Khan, celebrities from different walks of life attended the reception ceremony. As a doting father, Aamir Khan was seen attending to the guests with an enchanting smile.
The actor posed with the entire Khan family, but Kiran Rao had to give the occasion a miss due to ill-health.
