Fighter box office collection day 1 early estimates: Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer takes a decent start

After taking a fair start in the morning shows, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter witnessed a good jump in the evening and night shows, which resulted in a decent opening day collection of around Rs 24 crore.

As today is a big national holiday (Republic Day), the film should witness significant growth and positive word-of-mouth will help it to remain steady in the coming days. While it will become the first Bollywood movie of 2023 to enter the Rs 100 crore club, it will be interesting to see whether it will earn over Rs 200 crore or not.

Since there are no big no releases in the coming week, Fighter will enjoy its dominance until the arrival of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which is set to hit the screens on 9th February.

Talking about the reviews, Firstpost gave Fighter 4 stars and wrote, “Fighter has to be Siddharth Anand’s best work. Yes, better than War and Pathaan. He weaved the narrative with thrilling and emotional elements, which have several goosebumps moments. The aerial action sequences are simply impeccable and with BGM by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara, the impact of these scenes goes to another level. While the first has vivacious energy which is palpable, the second half has more emotional and patriotic moments. The best thing I liked about Fighter is its ensemble cast. The director used his every to his or her potential.

Talking about performances, Hrithik Roshan is a charmer and as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, he sinks himself into the character and hits the ball out of the park. Right from his emotional eyes to superb dialogue delivery, the actor makes an indelible mark with Fighter. Deepika as Meenal Rathore is great, apart from her sizzling chemistry with Hrithik, she shines in the emotional scenes. Anil Kapoor is apt as Rocky and delivers a noteworthy performance. Akshay and Karan deliver their best as Bash and Taj.
