The 66th Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, 4 February at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. While the big show saw some major wins, it was the red carpet look that also hit headlines for a different reason.
Major celebrities from the music industry, including Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Bebe Rexha, and Ellie Goulding, among others, were gracing the red carpet in style. Among them was another celebrity, the daughter of pop icon Michael Jackson, who also hit the 2024 Grammys red carpet, looking stunning and beautiful. While she chose a simple Celine gown with bold cutouts, it was something else that caught our attention.
Paris, who is otherwise known for flaunting her body art, this time went for a simple look by covering all her 80-plus tattoos on her body. As soon as she walked the red carpet, fans couldn’t help but notice the absence of her unmissable tattoos. Amid speculations of whether the singer-songwriter had gotten rid of her tattoos, it was later known that she collaborated with beauty brand Cover FX to temporarily “erase” her tattoos for a clean look at the Grammys.
Makeup artists Tyson Fountaine and Paul Blanch worked with the New York-based beauty brand Total Cover Cream Foundation and Pressed Mineral Foundation to provide effortless coverage for Jackson’s red-carpet look, The Hollywood Reporter states. Later, the 25-year-old also shared pictures of her transformation on Instagram and wrote, “In love with my alter ego, thanks to @coverfx Total Cream Foundation #coverfx #tattoocoverup #fullcoverage #grammys.”
Paris Jackson’s 80-plus tattoos
While this clearly shows Jackson with a new look, it seemingly doesn’t mean that she plans to get rid of her tattoo anytime soon. Paris Jackson has time and again mentioned the importance of her tattoos, which include almost everything from an alien to a homage to her father, calling them “loving marks.”
Paris is believed to have over 80 tattoos on her body, mostly on her arms and chest. It begins with chakra symbols to a Tolstoy quote, large symbols inspired by Led Zeppelin, matching friendship tattoos, and a few ones honouring her late father.
