The Academy Museum Gala is the second biggest stage world over post the Oscars which is organised by the same board.

Earlier this year, Deepika Padukone created history as she stepped on the stage at the Oscars to present the Indian song act.

The actress ends the year 2023, which is her biggest year ever on a bigger high as she became the first Indian actor to be invited for the Academy Museum Gala at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

The actress looked stunning in a purple velvet gown and minimal jewellery. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement as their idol makes India proud yet again by representing the country on such a big global stage.

Both her films Pathaan and Jawan broke lifetime records collected over 2200 crores worldwide, she was among the handful of Indians ever to feature on a TIME magazine cover without being part of any list, she presented an Indian song act on the biggest stage, Oscars and now this.

Deepika Padukone shares her struggle story

Opening up more about her personal life including her struggle period, Deepika Padukone shared how she had to deal with so many things both professionally and personally.

“I was a teenager who moved to a new city with no family or friends in the industry. I had to figure out everything including my meals, transport, and also carry my bags around,” she said.

Further mentioning that she would often sleep in a cab, the actress revealed that her mother would be worried about whether she would get home safely. “I look back at that journey and think ‘Not bad girl, you did this and you did it on your own,” she added.
