Both may have debuted in 2007 and 2010 respectively, but they had got their first super hit in the year 2013. While, Ranbir Kapoor’s first official box office hit and also the first 100 crore film was ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani‘, which raked 188 crores, it was Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela‘, which gave the energetic superstar and extraordinary talent Singh, his first major hit with the collection of 116.33 crores.

Following this victorious run at the ticket window, both Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor never looked back and paved the league of their own. While Ranveer Singh enjoyed a steady run at the theatrical window post ‘Ram Leela’ with the biggest hits like Bajirao Mastani which clocked 185 crores at the box office, he tasted the biggest success and first 300 crores with Padmaavat, a film which is considered as a milestone in his filmography and has made 302 crores in India, and then he appeared in the biggest commercial hit till date, ‘Simmba‘, which went on to earn 250 crores at the ticket window and even his last release, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘ is amongst one of the major biggest hit in the romantic genre with the collections of 160 crores.

But Ranbir Kapoor’s career post-Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani saw a flat trend as after this, the young actor saw his first blockbuster in the gap of 5 years with Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju‘, which earned 350 crores in the Indian box office, and following Sanju, he had 4 releases among which the two were hits which included ‘Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva‘ and ‘Animal‘, as both earned 257.44 crores and 556.31 respectively.

For the last few years, the 500 crores club was owned by the Khans and the Devgn of industry, and continuing the legacy, Ranbir Kapoor joined the elite club and has broken every record with ‘Animal‘ and the next potential Gen Z superstar to breach the 500 crore club in Ranveer Singh, who will make his presence in the club with ‘Don 3‘.

It can’t be denied that Ranveer Singh who is gearing up for Farhan Akhtar directed ‘Don 3‘ is all set to give another box office blockbuster with the film and also the biggest hit in the franchise while Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in one of the biggest film of 2025 ‘Love & War‘ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the film is hugely anticipated by the masses.

This career graph and the box office numbers of Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are proof of their strong box office mettle and also stand right to the saying that no young actor is near to them in the box office race.
