Amid Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ success, Aamir Khan’s old interview on ‘sex and violence’ goes viral
Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal‘ has finally hit the theatres and it seems like the film has lived up to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s comment as he said, “I will show you what violence is.” Featuring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles, the film revolves around a dysfunctional family, focusing on the complex dynamics of the relationship between the father and son Balbir Singh and Rannvijay Singh Balbir.
From putting up ruthless violence on the show to attempting to find shades of grey in Ranbir Kapoor aka Rannvijay Singh Balbir’s character, the film undoubtedly serves as a medley of feral rage and despair.
Despite going strong at the box office, the film has been receiving mixed reactions from audiences. Amid this, a video of actor Aamir Khan is now going viral where he poignantly explains how non-talented directors use violence to make their films work.
While the interview seems quite old, fans have managed to find an uncanny comparison between the actor’s remarks and the recently released film Animal.

“These two emotions are most easy to provoke in a human being. Directors who are not so talented in creating a story, showing emotions, and creating situations depend heavily on violence and sex to make the film work. They think that if violence and sex are shown, it will be successful,” he said.
Aamir also goes on to call out such elements, stating that it is possible to get success by doing this but it harms society to a great extent and is a very wrong thing to do.
The video further added that those in the cinema are morally responsible to a certain extent and said that films definitely affect the minds of audiences, especially youngsters.
“We should keep in mind when we make a film that we don’t do something that leaves a bad impact on the new generation. I don’t say that there should be no violence in films. But it should depend on the subject and there are ways of showing it,” the actor said.
As soon as the video was shared, many took to the comment section that the description matches Vanga’s films.
