Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’ ahead of Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony, share a video from Jordan
Ahead of the highly-awaited Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Ayodhya is all decked up and ready to welcome a bevvy of celebrities who have started arriving to witness the historic moment. The inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is all set to take place today, Monday, 22 January.
Special guests from the entertainment industry, sports, politics, art, literature, and culture among other fields will be seen attending the ceremony. While Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kangana Ranaut, and many others have been invited, some were already spotted reaching the holy city.
Akshay Kumar who was also invited to attend the historic Ram Mandir inauguration on Monday, however, might not attend the ceremony due to prior work commitments.
Akshay Kumar likely to miss Ram Mandir consecration
Akshay Kumar who is presently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ with Tiger Shroff reportedly has a packed schedule and won’t be able to make it to the event. According to an ETimes report, the actor who was duly invited by the temple trust will skip the ceremony as he is presently in Jordan shooting for his film.

“Akshay has told the organiser of the function about his prior commitments with the producers of the film. As it is a combination shoot, he may not be able to attend the event, ” ETimes reported citing a source.
While a proper confirmation is yet to be given by the actor, he did share a video sending his best wishes and greetings to all his fellow countrymen ahead of the historic event. Taking to his microblogging platform, Akshay along with his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-actor Tiger Shroff shared a video. “Today is one of the biggest days for all Ram Bhakts across the globe. It is after the wait of hundreds of years that Ram Lalla will be finally coming back to his home in Ayodhya,” the actor said.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar who was last seen in ‘Mission Raniganj‘ is presently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film. Besides that, he also has the Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru‘ followed by Hera Pheri 3′ and ‘Singham 3‘ in the pipeline.
